By For some, Memorial Day marks the end of spring and the start of summer, though technically summer is still few weeks away. So while we prepare to enjoy some time with our family today, grilling and watching a backyard movie, while also taking time to remember the brave people who gave their lives to allow us to enjoy this freedom, I thought I’d make something to mark the end of spring.
This palette is full of bright colors inspired by the zinnias and morning glories in my garden. This past week, it was packed full of blooms! I absolutely love the oranges and pinks of the zinnias next to the blues and purples of the morning glories. This is my first year planting morning glories, and even though they get a little out of control, I think it’s become a garden staple.
I think this palette would be great for birthday invitations! It’s fun and makes me think of pool parties and sherbet push pops. Anyone else?
